Evelio Martinez del Pino (M.Sc, P.GO, CESA, DPT) holds over two decades of diverse experience in geophysical exploration and leads our geophysical operations and project management in Canada and internationally.
Work experience includes projects related to environmental assessments, waste contamination imaging, site monitoring, pollutant mapping, nuclear site assessments, soil property estimation, electrical lightning protection, bridge deck condition assessment, road structure analysis, seismic site classification, utility locates, buried objects mapping, base metal exploration, mining, geothermal and uranium exploration.
Known geophysical techniques include Induced Polarization, Resistivity, Seismic, Magnetics, Radiometric, Nuclear Resonance Sounding, Frequency and Time Domain Electromagnetics, Gravity, Magnetotellurics and Ground Penetrating Radar.
Along with performing project management, he provides geophysical field work, data processing, interpretation and reporting for Environmental, Archeological, Geological Engineering, Bridge & Road Condition Assessment, Structure Imaging, Concrete NDT and Mineral Exploration.
Accredited with a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Geophysics from the G. V. Plekhanov Mining Institute (St. Petersburg, Russia), Engineer’s degree from the Jose Antonio Echevarria Polytechnic Institute and a Master of Science degree in Applied Geophysics from Delft International Institute of Earth Sciences in The Netherlands.
Mr. Martinez is a professional geoscientist registered with the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario since February 16, 2007 (APGO - Membership No. 1058); a certified Environmental Site Assessor, CESA # 17770 April 14, 2016; and a Damage Prevention Technician accredited with ORGA, Ontario.
